1. Nature of Service โ Aggregator Model
Logisticswala facilitates booking of shipments with third-party carrier partners including Delhivery, XpressBees, DTDC, Gati, BlueDart, and others. All physical logistics operations are performed by these carrier partners.
2. User Eligibility & Registration
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- You must provide accurate, complete registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- One person/business may maintain one active account
- Business accounts (B2B) must provide valid GST number for GST invoices
3. Prohibited Goods
The following items are strictly prohibited from being shipped through Logisticswala:
- Currency, negotiable instruments, gold/silver beyond carrier limits
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or any contraband
- Narcotics, drugs, or banned substances under Indian law
- Hazardous materials, flammables, corrosives
- Live animals or perishable goods requiring temperature control (unless arranged separately)
- Items prohibited by any applicable Indian law or carrier terms
4. Liability Limitation
Logisticswala is NOT liable for:
- Loss, damage, or delay of shipments in transit (carrier's responsibility)
- Consequential, indirect, or special damages
- Losses due to incorrect address provided by shipper
- Damage due to improper packaging by shipper
- Force majeure events (strikes, natural disasters, government actions)
- COD fraud or mis-declaration of contents
5. Payment & Wallet Terms
- Wallet funds are non-transferable and non-refundable except as credit for shipments
- All bookings are subject to wallet balance availability (prepaid model)
- Razorpay processes all online payments โ Logisticswala does not store card data
- GST at 18% applies on all freight charges (SAC code: 996812)
- Disputed charges must be raised within 7 days of invoice date
- B2B credit accounts are subject to separate credit agreements
6. COD (Cash on Delivery) Terms
- COD remittance is subject to carrier's remittance cycle (typically T+3 to T+7 days)
- Logisticswala charges a COD handling fee per shipment (as per rate card)
- COD fraud or non-payment by consignee is not Logisticswala's liability
- COD remittance is credited to your Logisticswala wallet
- Maximum COD amount is subject to carrier limits
7. Claims & Disputes
- All damage/loss claims must be raised within 7 days of delivery/non-delivery
- Claims are subject to carrier's claim policy and documentation requirements
- Logisticswala will assist in filing carrier claims but cannot guarantee outcomes
- Shipment insurance is available as an optional add-on (carrier-provided)
8. Account Termination
Logisticswala reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Shipping prohibited goods
- Payment defaults or chargebacks
- Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation
- Violation of these terms
- Misuse of the platform or vendor network
9. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by Indian law. Any disputes shall first be resolved through mutual negotiation. Unresolved disputes shall be subject to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Jurisdiction: Courts of New Delhi, India.
10. Changes to Terms
Logisticswala may update these terms with 7 days' notice via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after notice constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
